How cool is this - Mad Mike Whiddett and Fredric Aasbo will be carrying out some of their mental demos coming to Modified Live Snetterton as a part of the Speedhunters European Drift Tour 2013.

2013 will see a change to the Modified Live format, we are changing the circuits around and also will have less shows in favour of making them bigger.

The season kicks off on the 9th June at Snetterton, keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for updates of what you can expect to see at each show.

Having to get up so early to arrive to a show is never a nice thing, but it all seems worth it when it turns out to be well organized with lots to see and do, even the rain didn’t seem to dampen any spirits! Looking around and seeing what you had put together with a good turnout of car stands (not too many chavy cars and rust buckets) and a whole day packed with great racing I don’t think any of us could have asked for more.

I can confirm that Missbanzai have now marked this event on the calendar for next year and the foreseeable future and to be honest really can’t wait for the Brands next time around. I’m even looking into the truck racing more now after seeing those, and the old F1 cars had to be a highlight."

Hi Nicola,

Just a quick note to say thanks for sorting out our clubstand place! All our guys were very happy and worked out an ideal place to run back to when the heavens opened. I did hear comments that it was good to see that "attractions" still took place even through the rain, which at other shows we have been to haven't been the case.

The day was slightly tainted by another club who we don't really get along with flyering all of our cars, which was nice of them, but after an hour or so of scraping the little white bits that had come off the flyers and had seemingly welded themselves to the cars. We were back down to the track to watch some great action!!

Thanks again and we look forward to next year, and we may even look at doing another Snetterton later in the year!
