Apart from watching the races there was plenty of other things on offer, including: A fun fair, Sideshows, Food stalls, Ice cream, Club Vs Club Tug of war competition, Licensed bar and much more!

Kroozinnorthwest.co.uk Team 1 overall winners

On Saturday 16th April 2011 we held a Club Vs Club Tug Of War Competition at Oulton Park – Modified Live, Season Starter. The competition was based in front of all the car clubs behind the trade stands and started at 3pm. The main reason for this event was to bring all clubs and spectators together for a bit of fun!

We even tried to get the Police and Fire force to join in the fun and go against the clubs but as they were all on call, so they couldn’t risk it. Shame!

After a long morning trying to pull some clubs together and get them to sign up we managed to the following clubs: KroozinNorthWest.co.uk 1st Team, PHCruise.co.uk, SimplySubaru.co.uk, Midlands Car Club, DefinedRidez.co.uk, SimplySubaru.co.uk Ladies Team, KroozinNorthWest.co.uk 2nd Team, Merseymodified.co.uk, to join in the fun!

With a special thank you to the 6 SimplySubaru.co.uk ladies who took on a random member of the public and our security guards because none of the other car club ladies would take them on and they WON.

After a good olde Tugging from all the teams we could hand over the trophies and prizes to the Winning Team and Runner up! In 1st Place – KroozinNorthWest.co.uk and 2nd Place – PhCruise.co.uk, I would just like to say one big thank you for all the car clubs that entered and give yourselves a pat on the back!

All car clubs can enter any of the competitions organised by Modified Live, for the Tug Of War competition, you are allowed a Max of 6 members male or female from each club to enter, with a chance to win a club trophy, prizes will be for the Winning Team and Runners up.

The awards and presentations took place for all competitions at the same time as the Time Attack and European Drift Championship.
